"Billy" Meier is an one-armed swiss man who claims to be in contact with extraterrestrials since his childhood. Among other things Meier's claims extraordinary are backed up by at least 369 UFO photos, eight UFO movie films, one UFO video recording, three UFO sound recordings, at least 107 witnesses involved in 152 events, various alleged alien metal samples, many documented UFO landing tracks, thousands of pages of alleged contact notes, a document called the Talmud Jmmanuel which allegedly is the real gospel and a large document called the "OM" which allegedly is the real version of the biblical Book of Enoch. The quantity and quality of the evidence makes the case unique within UFOlogy. Some of the evidence is very difficult to fake and some of it seems even impossible to fake like some of Meier's accurate scientific/prophetic information. Any hoax hypothesis requires beyond any doubt a large complex organized effort. Until this date however no hoax explanation has been presented which didn't oversimplify, omit, or distort the available facts. Aspects like the motivation, time, money, information, methods/techniques, logistics, materials, accomplices and specialists for a hoax have until this date not been adequately explained. Nevertheless, the general opinion is that the case is the most elaborate UFO hoax ever. Basically, hoax propenents focus and limit themselves to (and draw their conclusions on) the less plausible aspects of the case (of which there are plenty) and ignore the good stuff and its important consequences. In this way they also fail to see that the whole situation may well be the result of a strategy with the goal of delicately letting people on Earth get acquainted with the reality of UFOs and their consequences.
